Always hated the framing of "terrorists" and who counts and doesn't count. "Terrorists" aren't necessarily bad.
My favorite terrorist is john brown
I don't see any realistic way AI is going to wipe out humanity in the near to medium term. That's just hype for the IPO.
What is near to medium term?
Next few decades I guess. After that it's pretty hard to make any reasonably accurate predictions about the future.
AI uses up too many resources. We should save them up for a controlled descend, not use them up for a glorified autocomplete.
