Since he explicitly said that his job is "too keep the left pro-Israel," his silence is perfectly in line with his job description.

It is enough to make one wonder in what country the Baelis reside.

[–] lemmylump@lemmy.world 124 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

That's cause he's a pos who enables this regime and Israel's too.

Schumer and Jefferies both need to be removed.

I genuinely think things will devolve to the point that Americans using political violence against the establishment democrats is the only path forward. It's fucked up. But I feel like it's the only way America doesn't devolve into a nation ending civil war. Actually. Cuz looking from the outside I don't see the outcomes of any of your elections moving the needle anymore.

Voting out republicans doesn't solve the problem of establishment democrats preventing newly elected democrats from fixing anything.

edit: Hopefully I'm wrong. But this is what I believe will happen.

[–] GreenBeard@lemmy.ca 25 points 1 day ago (5 children)

I don't know that violence is entirely necessary, but working toward the DSA becoming its own thing and letting the Establishment Dems crash in to the hard reality that nobody supported them in the first place, they just disapproved of them less than the absolute mayhem on the right should probably happen.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world -1 points 6 hours ago

Yeah, I dont think reforming the Dems is possible anymore. I had hopes but it increasingly just seems like me huffing hopium. Dems wont charge your family for the bullet for your execution, but they will still pull the trigger when their klpetocrat rulers tell them to-- same as the GOP. Some would say that lesser evil is the best we can hope for, I think we should all disagree and have a real government.

[–] Canconda@lemmy.ca 14 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Upvoted; but please understand, I'm not describing what I want to happen. I'm applying my weapons grade autistic pattern recognition to my background in attending and paying attention to history classes.

The Republicans and Democrats are the sword and shield of the wealthy elites respectively.

I agree with you, it's not necessary. But I'm warning you that it's inevitable. Those are not mutually exclusive!

Obviously not everyone is going to agree with me on this. Hopefully I'm wrong.

[–] GreenBeard@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I don't think anyone should rule it out, I just don't think the death blow to the elites is going to come from partisan politics anyway. I think we're past the tipping point where the system as built can be salvaged.

[–] Canconda@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

I just don't think the death blow to the elites is going to come from partisan politics anyway.

That's beyond the scope of what I'm saying. I only mentioned wealthy elites to illustrate the role establishment dems play in subverting progress.

MMW USA will either play an integral role in the global working class uprising, or no longer exist in it's current form by that time.

If we're taking violence, I'll start with Republican's, thanks.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world -1 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 6 hours ago) (2 children)

Dem Centrist leaders will cheer you on, then knife you in the back when you're fighting, then when you have finally got the republicans vlying anquished on the floor, the dems will lift them back up and forgive everything they did. Centrists are as much your enemy as your friend. Its literally in their name, "centrist".

Of course he hasn't. Omar actually cares and isn't a corporate ass licker. She is exactly what Mr. Stern Letter Glasses On The Tip Of His Nose Schnuck doesnt want in the Democratic party. Omar getting denaturalized and deported would be a win as far as he is concerned.

[–] Didntdoit71@feddit.online 48 points 1 day ago (2 children)

That's because Chuck is, what we Americans call, a pussy. Always has been a sniveling politician who follows the money. Yet New York continues to elect the little fucker.

[–] obvs@lemmy.world 3 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

If you think Schumer's a pussy. then he's done his job well.

He exists for you to think he's a pussy. That is literally his purpose, and is literally the job his ~~employers~~ owners pay him for.

And he has a history of being a no-holds-barred fighter for what his owners want.

Dudes part of the domestic enemies club.

[–] Pratai@piefed.ca 22 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Nor will he. His job is to sit down and shut up.

[–] Bubbaonthebeach@lemmy.ca 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Or help Trump. That is what he seems to do most often.

[–] FahrenheitGhost@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Good cop bad cop. Both cops get paid from the same source.

It takes time to draft a 17 page letter that no-one will read.

[–] leaky_shower_thought@feddit.nl 3 points 10 hours ago

tax-funded technically politically neutral letter novels shall save the world once more!

[–] meco03211@lemmy.world 3 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

The longer he takes, the stronger the words. This is shaping up to be his strongestly worded letter ever!

Fuck Schmuck

[–] Radical_Socialist_t00t@lemmy.ca 7 points 23 hours ago

Isn't he dead? Old bag of dust still as useless as ever. Him and demented donny should be put in thesame old people home

[–] Burn_The_Right@lemmy.today 19 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Omfg. People. Chuck Schumer is a conservative. ALL neoliberals are conservatives. Always have been. That's why we're in fascism now.

There is no peaceful way out of conservatism. As long as they continue to exist, we will continue to be oppressed.

Of course not, her politics are antithetical to serving the needs of the billionaires and Chuck knows which side his bread is buttered.

[–] Pomal@sh.itjust.works 21 points 1 day ago

Silence is compliance. Deplatform.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Because he's a scummy MAGA. When this is over, we need to investigate him and Jeffries, and we'll probably find that they've been getting paid by MAGA all along. Nothing else explains how they were so cooperative with MAGA at every step. They are 50% responsible for the rise, and re-rise of MAGA. We will always be under MAGA rule as long as the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries are in charge

[–] chahn.chris@piefed.social 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Jeffries having a closed door meeting with Jared Kushner tells you everything you need to know about where he’s at.

Folks if we get the blue wave everyone needs to write their reps and tell them they cannot put Schumer or Jeffries anywhere near speaker or majority roles. It’s essential for ensuring we have a chance of the new congress doing what really needs to be done.

[–] Didntdoit71@feddit.online 4 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Too late. They're in and nothing will remove the fucking leeches.

[–] Burn_The_Right@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago

Correction: Nothing peaceful will remove them.

I hate that man's stupid face.

[–] joelfromaus@aussie.zone 8 points 1 day ago

His handler hasn’t given him the ‘stern letter’ to pass along slamming the conduct.

[–] redbrick@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago

No surprise from this limp-dick, but ...I am surprised her squad have not been super vocal about this....like front page vocal! (I've read some articles/commentary here and there, but nothing very strong from them.)

[–] gAlienLifeform@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

On the other hand (arc),

In a written statement later on Monday, Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said U.S. President Donald Trump had targeted Omar — a Minnesota congresswoman and the first Somali-American lawmaker in Congress — with "vile personal attacks" for years.

"Now, less than 30 days until the midterm election, his violent mass deportation machine has descended upon the home of a duly elected Member of Congress and her family," reads the statement.

It was also signed by House minority whip Rep. Katherine Clark and Rep. Pete Aguilar, chair of the House Democratic Caucus.

"The American people deserve transparency, and we will deliver full accountability for the rogue abuse of power from the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice," they said.

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 31 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Whew, fortunately someone wrote a stern letter. Okay, we're back on track.

[–] gAlienLifeform@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago

Yeah, it's not enough, but it's better than absolutely nothing, and more than they would have done for Omar than if this had gone down in 2017 I think

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Vote his useless ass out of office. That moron had every chance to prosecute Mango Mussolini and completely failed.

[–] SaltyAmerican@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

The oligarchy will never charge one of their own

[–] SeeMarkFly@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 day ago

She's already been declared guilty by Trump. What more do you need?

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 day ago

Does anyone have proof of life for Chuck Schumer?

Yes but Prezzy Trump might call me a mean name and I don't like being called mean names!
