I am so pissed right now. I live in an affected community and on the fucking front page of our local paper is Trump saying she is a criminal and the governor backing him up.

Even if the worst possible scenario is true, that she personally fucked this dude and convinced him to run against Mr. Sullivan, it would still be perfectly legal. They are putting their thumbs on the scales so hard. We have less than a million people here, they need to seriously fuck off with this shit.

Why is anyone holding Democrats to such high standards? Yes this is shady but it went through courts and it’s not illegal.

Meanwhile Republicans are out there everywhere doing crimes like crazy and everyone’s like well we expect them to do that.

My feeling on this is gtfo with this bullshit.

Can the progressives in the Democrat party fight back against Murc's law?

Reverse reactionary psychology

Laws are threats of violence established by the dominant socioeconomic class of any given nation. Conservatism demands that there is a protected class for whom the law protects, and a subjugated class for whom the law is used to opress. Every cycle, who qualifies as the protected class shrinks, and who is subjugated grows.

Whoever is downvoting this is either butthurt, or in denial.

Considering they have ranked choice voting the whole problem is pretty moot. Vote one rank 1 and the other rank 2. Not that even that is the issue because you'd have to practically not look at the ballot at all to accidentally vote wrong considering the incumbent is explicitly labelled the incumbent.

You put a lot of trust in the average American's vocabulary.

And ability to read and comprehend. This is how we ended up with the current administration.

Weirdly enough I'd give the Alaskans an edge on that, a lot of them are surprisingly smart from the few I've met. Note I've met the dredges that have come out of Christian homeschooling wherein their ability to even sound out words is less than a four year old, the fact that Alaskans see relatively smart is impressive since I'd expect them to have been hit by that one.

Yeah, if it’s true that this was coordinated or in any way led or endorsed by the campaign or the DNC, this is truly the dumbest thing they could have possibly done aside from running a blue-dog.

It’s not illegal. Thats why the party lawyers said it was ok to do!

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. I wish Democrats would rat fuck Republicans on anywhere near the same level they get it.

No, it makes us look just as bad as them.
