I would not like an LLM

I would not like it on my phone

I would not like it in my home

I don't want it on my computers

Definitely not on routers

I don't want it upon my roads

I don't want it reading my code

(and if you do, you are a chode)

In PowerPoint, Word, or Excel

I don't want any sloppy smells

I hate when people say it "thinks"

The smarmy cocky gits all stink

"I asked AI, here's what it said"

They say on forum posts I've read

I would not like to talk to it

It's even made search engines shit

Don't bring back coal, or oil, or gas

Those LLMs can eat my ass

Love the poem. Concerned by the fact that at the end of the book, the character actually loves the original topic of derision once they try it.

I do actually like my offline, minimal LLM which runs entirely on my own computer and has access to all my private notes. It's great for a quick semantic search. And that's about it.

Those massive "AI" companies pushing it as a solution to literally every problem, including many problems we don't actually have, can still eat my ass.

I’m with you, it has its narrow set of uses. I sure wish it was only treated as the somewhat handy tool it actually is.
