It is peer to peer, you cannot ban or remove it, it is here forever. There are no central points to remove. It is individuals networking with other individuals.

Because eventually the grid electricity costs too much. If you consume more than the community, then the prices will be astronomical. Then it is profitable to build a power plant. If they are generous, they could even sell some electricity to the community for a "reasonable" price.

Since data centers will be run by nuclear power on-site in the future they will soon have both...

Lots of nsfw sites like manyvids use bitcoin or others. It works just fine once you get used to it. No government or bank controls bitcoin, making it and sites using it immune to shutdown like this. They'd have to take down the actual site and even that pirate bay and others have shown is futile.

This is what Bitcoin was invented for. No government or bank can control it.

I read the article and it didn't mention any of that. It didn't mention what happened on the video at all. Really shitty thing that he did.

What did she do that was humiliating? I get not wanting random videos of oneself online, but why is she so anxious about the video? She was just shopping, what so embarrassing about that?

You are right, they have the most important banking apps for my home country. However, I wonder if you still have to install them via google play store API, like in /e/OS?

Edit: yepp, it is installed via google API and require spoofing the google certificate. This is as they write not a sustainable long term solution, as this could break at any time. Graphene themselves say that the only solution long term is to get governments to develop apps for graphene diectly.

The problem is that the most important apps for users aren't on those platforms. Bank apps and identification apps. They need to make apps for those platforms first otherwise a switch makes no sense.

Also I have tried Ubuntu touch and it's a nightmare and dysfunctional. e_OS however works great.

It can be both. I am certain that there isn't one explanation for it. What i describe is the feedback loop. What you describe is the initial conditions. Combined they spell disaster.

This is why we have so much tribalism, polarization and extremism today too though. People find their information bubble, gets validated for the shit they say (i.e. emotional support), feel good about it so they post more and more extreme shit and validate (give emotional support) to others in the bubble.

Now you have an extremist movement. Getting emotional support/validation from strangers on the internet is not always a good thing. Even if it makes you feel less anxious. Some people should feel anxious about the things they think about.
