thankfully there are mods to disable cosmetics for those that don't want to see them.

I really appreciate how much customization TF2 still allows. HUDs, configs, insane graphics tweaks, borderline cheating with legal console commands.

Agreed with you, I love tf2 but it doesn't quite scratch the same itch.

Appreciate you sharing that info with me. I'll get checked.

Damn, that's rough. How old are you (range is fine) if you don't mind me asking? I'm in my mid-30s and thinking about trying to get my Doctor to get one covered for me.

Even Stadia had the courtesy to send everyone full lifetime refunds.

No disc on PC is totally different because the platform is more free. We have multiple store fronts, some are DRM free, some come with free compatability tools, we can install games free of a store, back data up to a hard drive and play that same game on a different PC all offline, we could burn our entire library to SD cards or CDs and produce our own physical media, we can use a million combinations of hardware and operating systems, etc.

Locking out discs also hurts game stores and gives consumers worse value for money since they can't trade in games. Super shitty when there is only one digital storefront

I'm off work and at home by 4pm, so I'll have a joint if I like, thanks.

That video is a hoax. It's a small screen inserted into a pregnancy test, cables run out the side which is never brought into frame.

It seems since I have made this post that a huge amount of progress has been made in getting FPS games running on the neogeo.

Who goes to a BBQ and gets all sides?

I hope someone accomplishes it, even if it's single digit framerate.
