Man, every time I ask someone what makes LLMs useful I get weird rambling defensiveness.

I don't understand how "automated production of websites that can fool you into believing a person made them" is helpful or interesting or valuable to anyone but propogandists and scammers.

Not running on a Pi yet, any spying would depend on the distro. There's no dedicated Bigscreen distro yet but I'm pretty sure it's being worked on.

That's true even the premium brands won't halfway decent CPUs in them to keep the giant bloated menus from stuttering.

There's no best answer right now, Plasma Bigscreen is making good progress.

I have to imagine they'll soon be putting cellular antennas in the TVs to circumvent all that anyway.

I could never get those Android TV builds to work with CEC which kind of defeats the purpose for me. I'll try it out with the next update. Librelec had no issues.

I couldn't find a working YouTube app on Kodi, nor any of the streaming sites (besides Disney plus oddly) nor Plex. It kinda felt like a real debrid frontend and graveyard of plugins.

LOL ok you got me I specifically tried to avoid saying that. I meant real intelligence. I'll edit my comment.

EDIT: And by "real intelligence" I'm speaking of beings which display traits like curiosity and creativity.

The investment speculation angle really does feel like crypto 2.0. Blockchain tech has some interesting, though niche right now, uses.

I'm with Ed I absolutely don't think LLMs are worthless but anyone who thinks a critical mass of real people want to pay real dollars for slop are living a fantasy.

I think you're misunderstanding my question, I'm not saying LLMs can't spit out a website so perfectly convincing that it would be impossible to discern from a human made website.

I'm asking what makes speeding up the creation of such "slop-sites" useful or desirable to anyone?

EDIT: Maybe you could sell me on why automating undergraduate work is something interesting or helpful?
