Pressure relief valve needs to be sealed so it can really go boom.

I was recently having a discussion with my girlfriend on why i feel this exact way. I was having alot of trouble putting into words what about it is so off putting to me. she accused me of kink shaming them, and I dont disagree with that assessment. But i was struggling to express WHY? I find the whole culture surrounding it disgusting. Weirdly it has nothing to do with the obvious infections and diseases associated with casual sex, and obviously people can do whatever they want in the privacy of their own homes. I generally take no issue with anything 'odd' in the bedroom. Theres just something off about the culture as a whole that sounds all the alarm bells in my brain.

Maybe someone can put into words what this feeling is and where its coming from?

650 ml? Most bottles are 750, they couldve made the balls a bit larger. It wouldve looked better and held more wine.

I always love the coments on posts like this, you can always tell exactly who you'd want at the function.

The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long.

Not you again... genuinely convinced this user is a bot. He made this same argument a month ago on a now deleted post almost verbatim. I disputed his claims with evidence and they continuously moved the goalpost through the entire argument. either braindead or just software please ignore.

tries it for smut AI bookmark:"I cannot read this because It violates our content policy."

Im encountering alot of AI created websites that explain concepts like "side effects of X pill" (a recent example) and there was basically no real medical websites in the top results, Just clearly AI using thousands of words to say nothing that I cant trust.

I was considering locally hosting a search engine to circumvent my need for them entirely. Search engine optimization seems like a nightmare, if they were trying to give me useful results. So im not sure if that would be a spend 5 hours to save 5 minutes situation.

As you and others said, Its been getting worse for years so its probably just a coincidence that its also profitable for AI.

Im convinced they made search engines worse to promote AI usage.

Reddit died imo when they limited API calls for app developers who made incredible 3rd party apps for the platform. Maybe theyve since fixed it, I wouldnt know since I felt cheated having supported baconreader and boost for their hard work in making the reddit exerience feel so premium. I tried the official reddit app and It was buggy garbage at the time. So IMO they pushed away a good chunk of their userbase even before the whole politicapocolypse, bann waves, community removals, etc.

While lemmy is not a perfect replacement in terms of numbers. I feel that every upvote and comment has more meaning here. People here are generally more productive and insightful. It makes me wonder how much bot traffic reddit had prior to the changes. Selfishly I kind of hope lemmy stays where it is in terms of popularity. You all seem generally really cool and It would be hard to find the real ones In the sea of reddit-esque nonsense.
