Blocking things based solely on not liking them is a terrible reason.
How? I didn't use it for years and it's fine.
I suspect he was brain dead for much longer than 1 month.
Oh nice, I still have my Oculus Quest. But will I be able to play the games that I bought from the store after this?
You are just using a very narrow definition of intelligence to mean exactly human-like intelligence. All intelligence is signal processing and pattern recognition. You can give LLM a novel task and it might complete it. Sometimes even well. Sure, you may argue it doesn't "understand" what's it's doing the way humans do (seemingly), but it's still intelligence of some kind.
I now start and abandon x10 more hobby projects every year, so yeah, my productivity is definitely up.
My pleasure. If you know what I mean.
Beat off to it.
anti-anti-AI ≠ pro-AI, it assumes there's only anti-AI and pro-AI and nothing in between.
And the wording was clearly about the anti-AI mob as opposed to people who understand the dangers and benefits of AI. It's similar to the difference between a Gamer™ and a gamer.
But they didn't say anything pro-AI. At most they were anti-anti-AI mob, which is just reasonable, as is with any "mob". And I read mob here as mindless parrots that keep repeating talking points and hating for the sake of conformity.
Andy was 16 roughly in 2004 (he celebrated his 6th bday in 1995 when he got Buzz). Chrome, that popularized Incognito Mode hasn't been released until 2008.
Back in the day we just had an extra browser where we always cleared all history after usage (was Opera for me).
