I thought that was just everyone now? Like every group doesn't want to be cancelled and they all want to cancel at least something, maybe besides libertarians, they get pretty wild. Like I'm sure this comment will be down voted because someone thinks they don't dislike cancel culture but actually they do because they themselves wouldn't want to be cancelled.

The goal isn't to increase wellbeing, the goal is to increase power and control, that's the core issue.

The idea is highly contingent on enough people agreeing. Like any system will disappear in a second if 100% of the people agree that it should. The problem with fascist states is they tend to be dictatorships and use a lot of force which is really efficient in controlling people, which is also why every military is structured that way. You need only like 10% of the population and enough force vs this concept where you need nearly everyone.

That's why democracy is also known as being ruled by the hordes of idiots. It's amazing when people are well informed on what they are voting on, the problem is that's never happened in mass and never will. People will vote based on their feelings or just straight up not at all.

Funny enough humans and unfortunately some physicians do the same thing, just look up the history of people saying vaccines cause autism. Same thing as all the people who think the world is flat. One person creates the lie and then others start puppeting it because they read it somewhere.

That said that's far from ideal for an AI. It's a pretty difficult problem as it is fundamentally a probabilistic completion machine. Kinda a similar problem to training human minds too.
