It would be objectively better if they could be disinvited from interacting with the sane members of humanity nonviolently.

I actually do think it's kind of worse when someone is only pretending to support something for profit. You can't really convince them otherwise because it's not a rationale or moral posture that brought them here; they have already weighed how they would feel going with something they didn't support and decided to roll with it as long as they got paid handsomely.
