Go on? Are you splitting the hair on not owning the music, since the artist retains copyright? Please elaborate.

You could perhaps still have enshittification in a worker owned organization. It seems more likely to happen when the decisions are being made by rich ghouls and absent shareholders, rather than the people who actually made the product.
A big problem is often lack of competition.
I pretty much only have drm free music
All these people at work are so eager to devalue themselves. They're rushing to have AI do their work and accepting the same pay.
Anyone who knew how anything relevant worked could have predicted this. Unfortunately, most people don't know shit about fuck, but they vote trump anyway.
No one needs that much money. The people who could deserve it don't get it. We've got teachers in poverty and this fucker has more money than he'd ever need. Fuck him. Fuck his enablers.
I'm pretty sure local models still induce pyschosis and hallucinate. Maybe the cat's out of the bag, but they still suck.
I wouldn't really characterize many things in life as the same kind of random. Throwing a dart at a dart board isn't a random action in the same way as rolling dice
Furthermore, dnd's randomization produces flat probability, which is often jarring.
My job told us all to use AI more, as its own metric. I had it walk through how capitalism is unjust. Not exactly a secret but probably the ghouls in management would probably be mad.
Generally random factors allow players with less skill to win. I think about that with games a lot.
It's one of the (many) reasons I don't really like DND very much. Huge random factor. You can make excellent tactical decisions and lose. You can be an absolute baffoon and triumph.
Some randomness is okay but not like that.
It's funny that corporations are like "no one wants to work" but also don't want to do the work of interviewing candidates
I feel like one possible future where I go to jail is when a conversation goes like
Me: "That thing you're doing is unnecessary, bad for the environment, and bad for society."
Them: "But I like it"
Me, screaming "BUT I LIKE IT" while I punch them in the face over and over and over and over.
Liking something is not a trump card that supersedes all other concerns, and yet some galaxy brains act like it is. Much more respect for people who can admit "I don't care about the environment or society" out loud.
