Nothing wrong with showing up at their local office in person with a crowd. Ive done that before

Calling Congress tends to result in a report from staff about constituent sentiment. It's a meaningful thing which can sometimes shift things on the margin — it's rarely enough on its own.

Hes not your enemy. If you're a constituent, he is your employee. Give his office a call and let them know how you expect him to perform.

I think a lot of people would be happy to return food to Trump after they're done digesting it.

I'm thinking she may also have timed things in a way that results in Democratic-run states, which largely attempted to rush money into peoples' debit cards after the appeals court ruling, having a month of SNAP, while Republican-runs states, which did not, having some very hungry people.

A whole bunch of Democratic-leaning states made an attempt to load peoples debit cards between the appeals decision and the Supreme Court stay. I have no idea to what extent they succeeded. If they did, we may end up with a month of Democratic areas being less hungry than Republican-majority ones

This post is an educated guess, but it sounds like she figured that if she didn't, the Republicans on the court would, and by granting the stay, she could keep it short
