"But ultimately our customers, our partners don't want to buy computers, they want to build AI factories. All of the CPUs until now were created for people. We were the users, we were the users. We were the renters. This is CPU for the agents (AI/LLMs). All the CPUs in the past we built for humans. This CPU is built for agents. And these agents are going to be using the CPUs with very little patience. There'll be a lot more agents then there are people. And then the agents are very impatient."

At their state convention, Minnesota Republicans held a moment of silence for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.

Like many other GOP state chapters, the Minnesota Republican Party has been unabashed about flaunting its extremism in recent years.

One of the clearest examples of this has been in the party’s promotion of far-right figures like Royce White, who rode the Minnesota GOP’s endorsement in his 2024 Senate race to a shellacking in the general election.

But even so, a moment of silence the party held for Derek Chauvin over the weekend — that is, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd — underscores a uniquely sadistic strain of racial bigotry within the state Republican Party.

without stupid adblockblock https://archive.is/whZuI

also i wouldn't install their extension just for that, you can edit your default search engine to anu address you want in the settings

browser extensions are a huge privacy risk and i wouldn't trust ddg with my data because of their Microsoft deal, not to block their trackers (they reverted that part after the backlash) in the ddg browser and to only show msn under their news tab in regular ddg

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) contracted with a spyware company that tells customers it ensures they can use the tool without the agency being caught doing so, according to documents obtained by 404 Media through our ongoing lawsuit against ICE.

In September, we sued ICE for documents related to its $2 million contract with Paragon, a company that makes powerful spyware for remotely hacking phones and accessing encrypted messaging apps. In response to the lawsuit we’ve now been given the first batch of documents by ICE, but have many more to go. The vast majority of the documents it has provided so far are heavily redacted, and it is still withholding information in the public interest that would more fully explain why the agency wanted to buy such a potent and controversial surveillance tool.

“404 Media has asked ICE to disclose agency records relating to its contract with a company known for its powerful spyware tool whose potential use in the agency’s ongoing mass-deportation campaign has prompted lawmakers, civil liberties organizations, and immigration groups to express deep concerns over potential civil rights abuses,” our original complaint said. Paragon makes a spyware system called Graphite that is capable of remotely hacking mobile phones and obtaining messages from apps such as Signal, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger.

As someone who used to like the game and the lore, I was waiting for a while for the (official) FNAF movie.
When it released in 2023, I thought I'd buy it on a DVD because I like physical media (and AACS sounds like crap to deal with).
But it wasn't yet released.

So I found it on Himovies (which is now dead), and decided to watch it later. "Maybe tomorrow."
Eventually it got released, but the price was too high, so I figured it would go down, eventually.
At some point I closed the Himovies tab. Out of tab bar, out of mind.

Now I remembered it when watching a trailer for different movie. Oh damn, let me check the DVD.
Sure thing, I could grab a used one now for a third of the original price.

Let's... go?
Wait, FNAF 1&2 DVD set? There's a second one?

But it's past 3AM now, so, maybe later?
