There is growing concern Donald Trump’s massive $10bn lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service may soon be settled by his own administration – an unprecedented, self-dealing maneuver for a US president, in which billions of taxpayer dollars could be transferred to the president or his allies.

Trump may agree to drop his lawsuit in exchange for the launch of a $1.7bn fund to compensate people he says were wrongfully targeted by the Biden administration, according to reports by ABC News and the New York Times.

Among other people, more than 1,500 January 6 rioters would be eligible to receive compensation from the fund, ABC said. The treasury department’s Judgment Fund, a pool of taxpayer funds reserved to pay out court judgments and settlements, would allegedly become the vehicle for Trump’s self-styled victim compensation fund.

Henry said the four Canadians isolating in the Island Health region had no known direct contact with the people who fell ill on the ship.

She said everyone on board is globally considered to be a higher-risk contact, but within that context, the four Canadians are considered lower risk because of the location of their cabins on the ship and the activities they were engaged in.

So I hope this means they are going to tell all the Canadians to wait the whole 8 weeks in isolation!

So here is my dilemma. I have a Truenas server that basically acts as a file server. I also have a little machine running Proxmox. I have an NFS share on the Proxmox machine for saving VM backups so that they are secure. On the Proxmox VM, I want to install docker instances. Some of them require large data repositories so I can't have the data stored on the VM. I'm thinking of creating an "apps" dataset on the Truenas machine, then exporting it via NFS and mounting on the VM. Then I redirect all the Docker volumes on this NFS share. Say I have Docker_App1 on the Proxmox VM, then I would create a folder in the /mnt/Truenas_share/Docker_App1. Do you think this will work? The alternative is to create an individual dataset on the Truenas machine for each Docker_App but this feels overkill and a nightmare to setup and maintain. How are you managing Docker volumes over NFS?

Democrats once hailed Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) as the party’s poster child: A plain-spoken, hoodie-wearing populist who appealed not just to those in his party but to independents and even some Republicans.

Lately, though, some Democrats say he’s appealing to Republicans and turning his back on his party with remarks defending Trump and attacking his party over their criticisms of the White House.

As the Pennsylvania senator increasingly clashes with progressives and breaks with his fellow Democrats on a string of issues, some in the party are comparing him to former Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), another Democrat who some in the party say boosted Republicans while hurting his side.
