This is the standard Friday menu in many bases. So, standard Twittery bullshit.
EDIT: I should mention that my source is a civilian family member that gets deployed to military bases for a living.
Your source is pretty much correct. Maybe not strictly every Friday, but it's in the rotation. Or it's the go-to "fancy" meal when someone important comes to visit. It's not good steak and crab legs either. Steak has to be prepared well done and I have no idea what's going on with that crab.
