Naw, it was an assassination. Something only a government would want to pull off.
That leaves us with three likely candidates and a couple of unlikely.
If feel pretty strongly that because of the laser quick response this administration was aware beforehand.
The primary candidate would be the US. We all know that they love false flag operations and with the tide turning against this administration it needs a war or some major travesty to distract.
The second would be Israel. Their house of cards is about to fall and they have done similarly desperate terrorist acts like this before.
The third would be Russia the master shot caller who has been responsible for a lot of the far right movements we are familiar with.
I will admit your scenario is infinitely more entertaining and creative than what we are actually dealing with.
I would want to pull it off, as would many other leftists.
I see zero reason to think it was a state actor and not a decent person.
Lets be real here and say that it was probably a right winger who had their brain scrambled
