- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. - No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. duno 500 seams high.
Iranian missiles/drones are not very precise, and they take a while to get there, usualy enough warning time to run from a exposted position to the next bunker.
US bases are huge, just cuz something impacts somewhere on it dosent mean a human is nearby.
I kinda doubt they could even hide 500 dead, even if they tryed.
It's definitely more than 6.
I bet its a few hundred.
I'd happily take that bet, but I'd like to know what source you'd trust for the final figure.
Foreign news is saying Iran has stated they bombed all U.S bases. They report 500 casualties. Would they exaggerate ?
Probably.
Would they turn 6 into 500. Not likely.
Would department of defence lie to conceal how badly they fucked up ? 100%
Even if both are lying, the middle is still a few hundred.
I still don't understand why any of you would trust what the trump or hegseth says.
But I can tell you that soldiers are not allowed to leak information all the time about on going operations.
We don't hear details about most things like this until years later.
And I do believe they can hide death counts easily in the short term.
I trust foreign news over U.S news. And you should too.
I've never watched US news. What's your "foreign news" source?
Well I read BBC and watch France news on YouTube. I gave such a link in my first comment. I also watch other foreign news in English. India also has such a news channel on YouTube.
The link below is the india one.

And here is the French one.

few hundred...no just no.
For every kia u have multipe wounded, and i dont see spikes in wounded transports to military hospitals in europe (usual extraction route for usa wounded in the middle east). If there where 500 dead it would mean 2k wounded and thay would mean constant helicopter medivac flights from airports to hospitals in europe...feel free to check historical data of flight radar (public info) on that.
Let me know if u come up with some facts that actually have data speaking for em.
Kegbreath didn't plan anything so they probably aren't even prepared for that scale of transport
Is there anywhere else US soldiers could be treated more quietly, e.g. navy hospitals, nearby Arab States or Israel?
Arab hospitals are considered a security risk and israel probably dosent has the capacity that nato nations can provide, the extraction route was developed during the gulf wars and the afghan war and i would wonder if they would suddenly change that
They’ve had no problem suddenly changing everything else for no good reason.
Yeah. Israel.
The families would be coming out of the woodwork.
If they had been told.
Theres a limit to how many times “can’t come to the phone right now” will work.
Maybe that's what the recent Facebook patent that allows them to have AI take over a dead person's persona is all about?
We really are living in a Black Mirror episode...
It's only been a week. Don't get me wrong, time's going to run out when the can keep it quiet, but we're not there yet.
It's been a few days. It's not always easy to reach service members.
How would they know?
It will take another week or two before we start learning the real numbers.
