Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

While true to a small degree, it is very obvious how lopsided one side is in comparison to the other. But I wholeheartedly agree that us citizens are the ones left in the lurch and usually fighting with each other (class warfare).
I don't know if that is true to any degree. The Democrats were chosen by the donors to be weak. They will not enforce the law against the rich and connected, they would not enforce the law against Republicans that tried to end the Republic in all but name and set themselves up as a one-party State rigging elections promising to persecute the other side they fall falsely claimed were doing that.
Which is the president's raison de etre, Biden and the Democrats abdicated their duty to defend the republic after the most egregious in your face attempt to kill it.
If that would not spur them to action nothing will. The party is broken. Not a single Challenger for president with four months to go with a candidate that never broke 30% approval rating and was roundly hated by all sides, that offered no substantive reform against a candidate running as reform in a time of anger and upheaval.
Pelosi handpicked her replacement as house Speaker without challenge, Schumer has not faced a single fucking challenge.
What the fuck is wrong with this party?
oh, get off. I can think of many notable very high profile instances of them attempting to enforce law against Republicans and being foiled because people like you demotivated their voters.
Honestly, it’s a very nuanced topic that has no clear delineation of right and wrong. There are some things the Dems will champion, while other things they will abdicate. It’s confusing as fuck to be honest; not to mention mentally exhausting. But at the end of the day, they’re still far better than their conservative counterparts (sometimes barely).
Those damn voters never know what's good for them so that's why we will give the GOP so much rope to hang themselves that it reaches the floor!
They allowed an attempt to end the Republican all but name to go unpunished so I would tell you to get on it not off it. No reasonable person would do anything but scoff at what you say here which I do good sir. I scoff at you.
You think the Democrats needed help demotivating their voter? They did that all by themselves. They were never going to be able to coast forever on being "not as bad as that guy".
Establishment Democrats did everything in their power to keep from being a party capable of inspiring anyone. Even so, the entire grass-roots infrastructure of the Democratic party would crumble without progressive volunteers. We've stood by this party through insult after insult and failure after failure.
Even now, with the country in the grasp of full blown fascism, we can't even get establishment Democrats to reliably back their own fucking nominee for the mayor of NYC. And you think it's progressive criticism that's demotivating voters? You are fucking insane.

So what, are we supposed to ignore reality and hope voters don't notice? You think that's a reliable strategy to avoid fascism? That's not how society works. Brushing Democratic party flaws under the rug doesn't keep voters from knowing the problems aren't getting solved. Fascism thrives in the vacuum of Democratic ineffectiveness.
And I wonder if you level the same criticisms when the establishment punches left (which they do far more than punching right). Surrendering to Republican framing on everything from Israel to defunding police to trans issues is what loses elections.
