I appreciate your attention to detail - but it's a metaphor, my friend. It's not meant to be literal.

Yes, the house always wins. But we are stuck in this casino. We can't leave this casino. So we pick the game that gives us the best odds at winning and we try.

So you realize you chose your metaphor poorly and won't admit it? Weird way to say that, but ok.

WE are not stuck in the casino. YOU are stuck in the casino. That's the point of the metaphor that made sense.

The vast majority of Vegas isn't casinos or the Strip. Many millions of people live in Vegas who don't gamble at all.

I'm not driving your metaphor into the ground, but just using it over and over because there's numerous ways to show how free you could be if you just took a step back and saw your own situation for what it is.
