Why leave X but stay on Facebook, Insta, bluesky, youtube, linkedin, ticktock, and threads?
This is clearly political, they clearly love censorship, they clearly just didnt like when it wasnt censored in the ways they wanted.
The EFF… loves censorship?
You can complain they aren’t doing enough I guess, but you might as well say a pet shelter loves murdering puppies because they can’t save them all or a environmentalist loves emitting co2 because they support an economically viable plan for net zero.
Well I have to just assume given they support the other platforms.
They address that point in the post you didn't read.
I just don't believe the rationale, there is no way threads or even Bluesky match X, its clearly political.
Take the high road and go to open platforms, just don't lie about why youre supporting the other shitty platforms that censor.
They're a political group by definition, even if you don't believe the rationale it's their prerogative, if they left former Twitter purely because it didn't align with their values that wouldn't be a contradiction in and of itself because their whole reason for existing is taking a political stand.
