They're not the only ones to pull shit, they're just bad at it...

Like, they picked something he hates and never goes to, and made a big thing about him going. It makes sense now that it was never going to happen and they were just drawing as many eyes as possible.

I saw Sports Center for the first time in like a decade last weekend, they were covering Wrestlemania as if it was an actual competition. Even when one of the "top 10" was someone openly cheating, and then they did an interview about how much work it took.

Like, the weirdest part was it felt like modern "political analysis" where everyone just pretends it's not rigged and the current "champ" is a blatant cheat.

This is why they were reporting about that "leak" that trump was going to say something stupid, to get people to watch. It's like some corny soap opera writing

This has a name: Kayfabe.

Right...

And on the wrestling broadcast it makes sense.

A third party doing it on any day besides April 1st is different

Because it’s all fake. They are faking culture and forcing it down our throats. All these YouTubers coming out of nowhere acting fucking stupid like clavicular? That’s Peter Thiels doing. Fake fake fake.

Instead of following culture and reporting on it as it happens organically they are faking culture and forcing us to fall in line. That’s why everything feels fucking wrong now.

And, the worst part, they are using the third world to do it for pennies. Destroy democracy for literally a hundred bucks a month just repost this shitty YouTube/kick/twist propaganda. We are so fucked.

for a while i used to think wrestlemania is just drama for dudes too macho to admit they like musical theatre. it's delightful and their fanbase is wonderfully welcoming. there's a really good reason a lot of the other special needs kids watched professional wrestling, and it's because the other fans accept them for who they are.

The fans and performers are pretty cool, but the owners are assholes.

What does the E in ESPN stand for?

Egrets. it's to let us know it's for birds, and birds are fake, and since birds are fake they include some of the fake sports for their bird fans
