Nothing to do with high road. Did I stutter when I said I hope he's domed? What part of, I hope he's shot did you not understand?
It's ineffective bullshit that doesn't work except on the fringes with nerds who just want to argue for the sake of arguing and "high iq" conservatives already sunk to the bottom..

To echo your thought, if you have 10 point and 1 is ridiculous and verifiably wrong, most people aren't gonna care about the other 9. You've lost your credibility. They'll walk away knowing your side just makes shit up.
