Wait, I thought Lemmy thought the US sucked and everyone wanted to leave because it's a doomed fascist country now? But now you all are mad because people wanna stay and you wanna fight for them to stay here?
But wait, people who love the US are fascists, remember? Come on guys, you all are forgetting what you all are mad about.
If we are so terrible like Lemmy says the US is, then why are people still coming here or trying to stay here? I thought the US was evil and horrible and should be wiped out. What changed? You all digging the US now? Gonna stop telling people to leave and get out? Or what? Pick one!
Before you cry and say "nazi!" I actually love the US and think people should be allowed to stay. But Lemmy's mixed messaging sucks! You all are just doomscrollers that want to be mad. I don't give a shit who is president, I think you all would find shit to be mad about. When the next Dem wins, I am gonna fucking go to every one of you who will still be bitching about everything and say, "Told ya so!" lol
You write like a third grader
Thank you. I was really worried I was gonna come off as a 2nd grader, but I made it to third grade! Yesssss!!!!!! Winning!
Try reading a book sometime.
Ok, sure. I mean, I get it. I have an opinion that goes against most Lemmy groupthink. So obviously I am uneducated and must read a book. Thanks for that advice.
Brother, I can read any book you want, but I stand by what I said. No matter how mad you get about it.
You clearly do not.

..were you going for a record in repeating the same tired strawman argument the most times possible while retaining (somewhat) coherent syntax?
Because if so, you did a pretty good job.
Otherwise, you just lied and distorted for four paragraphs for no reason and are likely an idiot, an asshole, or both 🤷🏻
Yes, did I win? Also, what did I lie about? Are you saying that Lemmy doesn't say the US sucks, that people should stay away, not come here, and not stay here? So I am wrong in all the posts that I see about posters saying they are looking for other countries to live, that they are trying to get out, that we are doomed, etc.? Am I lying about seeing non-US posters saying that they will never come here and advise others to stay away from here?
So I'm not seeing that? Even in this very thread there is a guy implying that people should move to Canada. lol
Please let me know where I lied and distored things.
Lemmy isnt one person. "Lemmy says" isnt a thing.
Oh ok, ok, gotcha. My bad.
So do you think that Lemmy is evenly divided between liberals and conservatives, and believes in even equal discussion about liberal and conservative viewpoints? Do you feel that someone who is a conservative would be welcomed here and be allowed to give their viewpoints in a fair and calm manner? Without fear of downvote brigading? You think it's 50/50 here?
Do you feel that Lemmy should be described as a welcoming place for both liberals and conservatives to calmly talk about issues if you were describing it to someone?
Or would you say something like, "Lemmy is pretty liberal" as a general summary?
I don't think you give much of a shit about anything or anyone else except stroking yourself... until it affects you personally.
Yeah, this is one of those "I'm apolitical" people who are actually Republicans but ashamed to admit it.
So when Republicans are in charge and actively fucking up the country, they just ignore it and say they don't follow politics. But as soon as a Democrat wins, they're suddenly a full time political pundit.
They mentioned that they're avoiding drive-by shootings by living in a more rural area in another comment. They're all in on the propaganda.
I'm not a Republican at all. If I were, I'd admit it. Why would I be ashamed to admit anything on an anonymous forum like Lemmy? I'm pro-third party, which is even worse than being a Republican to most people here. :)
Cool.

AHh yes, the entire "Everyone here thinks exactly the same" argumentative device.
Ohhhh, ok, ok, ok, I get ya. So are you implying that I was incorrect?
Ok, so lemme get this straight. Do you think that most of Lemmy likes the US and thinks people should come here and/or stay here?
Because of course, I didn't mean every single exact person, because I don't agree with most of Lemmy. So did you think that I meant every single Lemmy user, with no exceptions? It didn't occur to you that I mean most of the loud vocal Lemmy's. Ok, so how would you like me to phrase that in the future?
