It's more like this:

Funny how republicans always seem to have power to make things worse, but democrats never have enough power to reverse these things.

Almost as if both parties are funded by the same billionaires pushing the same agendas, just in different colors.

You need to stop consuming their propaganda (from both parties).

Ratchet effect is a made up talking point facists propagate on the internet to suppress voter turn out.

Fun fact: they call it an "effect" to make it sound scientific and well researched. It's really just a fabricated fantasy to encourage apathy and hopelessness.

It's the reality. USA is fucked with its two party system, both funded by the same billionaires with the same agendas. It's sad you don't see it, just look at where it got you... It got you to fascism, ironically.

The world saw it coming long ago, then it came, and now it's right in front of your nose and yet, here you are, still defending the system that got you into this fascist pedo mess.

I get you want to spread fascist propaganda, but "the ratchet effect" isn't real in any sense.

The system is fucked, but not because of scary made up propaganda. It's fucked because clowns spread FUD and hopelessness to suppress voter turn out. In the end it leads to facism and a country ruled by pesos and rapists, it's sad you don't see it.

You need to stop working off of vibes and think about policy. Off the top of my head:

Obamacare, anti-monopoly regulation, non-compete agreements ban, Russia sanctions + Ukraine support, not ignoring covid, women's bodily autonomy, CLIMATE CHANGE

But fuck it, you didn't get ice cream, the total destruction of capitalism, and a blow job on top of that, so now we have AI-enhanced gestapo invading cities. It's very easy to be the enlightened centrist and say "both sides same" when it clearly isn't actually impacting your life.

They didn't say both sides were the same they said the Democrats weren't doing enough to fight. Which is true. Democrats are constantly conceding shit and compromising when Republicans want to do shit.

Almost as if both parties are funded by the same billionaires pushing the same agendas, just in different colors.

It seems like they did say both sides are the same.

The same billionaires with the same agendas can be donors to both parties without those parties being the same

Republicans have power because Republican voters choose to give it to them. The only reason I ever hear for that is that “Democrats don’t do enough”. The only excuse Democrats ever have for not doing enough is that Republicans have power.

By “having power”, I’m not referring to having a 51 majority. One or two corrupt dissidents is common for a political party, so it needs safeguards against no votes. Any “49” party still has a lot of sway as long as they can convince anyone. I’m talking about having 80% power.
