there's literally no difference between them

Who is saying this?

Nazis are Nazis.

People who enable Nazis are also Nazis.

Democrats are enablers.

Republicans are Nazis.

Enablers = Nazis

Democrats = Republicans

Lots of people say this.

I think that's a fair take, and when you get to

Democrats = Republicans

I feel like few people hold onto the context of your Nazi topic. By the time you reach the bottom of your comment everyone thinks you're saying Democrats = Republicans across the board.

I mean, they arent wrong. Idk if its productive to blanket all dems that way though. Especially on the local level, a lot just use "Dem" to get on the ballot. Which, we definitely need to work to change and establish an actual multi party system, but in the mean time...

The ”blue I matter who” neolibs who think that working for a better tomorrow is a bad thing because all criticism is always bad no matter what. Everything is perfect and happy, do not believe your lying eyes.

2 years and 9 months on this account. I see plenty of claims that people say it, but I don't really see people saying it. And yes I know someone has, there will always be dumbasses and trolls. But I think these types of posts only exist to dismiss any valid criticism of the Democratic party. In my experience, most people are pointing out how Democrats and Republicans align on specific policies and say "they're the same" in that specific context. But, many people lack reading comprehension and immediately laumch into "how could you think both parties are 100% the same!?"

There are plenty in this thread, and certainly in any context that involves discussion with .ML.

No, the OP of this chain has it correct. I don't think Democrats are directly as bad as Republicans,(in fact the theater wouldn't be as effective if they were). I see them as enablers.

I see them as people who were elected to keep the flood gates secure, but instead when the flood came they opened the gates wide, and flooded the citizenry.

Democrats aren't bad because of some policy overlap, they're bad because whenever its time to be opposition to Republicans they fold. Hell they fight progressive candidates in their own party harder than they ever fight Republicans. FFS, after Jan 6, Biden was calling for "Bi-partisanship" with an openly hostile party.

Democrats are Fascism Enablers, which in the end does make the math come out to being just as bad as the Republicans.
