Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

They redistricted to dilute the Black vote...
That is not what the headline is referring to with the 45k number...
That is the amount of votes that were already cast in a primary for the old maps...
And those ballots are discarded, and those voters will vote in two months in the districts they're no in.
What you're talking about isn't what the article you're commenting on is about buddy.
In the previous article linked earlier, it says the primary will be in July, it's confusing because in this article he jumps straight to talking about the general

This is the problem. They’re being gerrymandered into districts to unfairly enhance the ability of the party in power to remain in power even though the majority of voters would rather they aren’t. That it’s also happening over racism is especially evil (basically saying “fuck those people in particular for their skin color, they should be our slaves again”), but the realm issue is carving up the map to subvert the will of the people.
I’ll go ahead and say it: Redrawing maps shouldn’t even be a thing.
