AIPAC is not a foreign lobby, they cannot accept foreign money. Congressional seats cannot be 'bought', but the election can be influenced by spending money on advertising.
In short, MTG was, is and probably always will be an antisemite
Even if this were technically correct, it would be disingenuous.
PAC spending is directly correlated to congressional election outcomes. Being pedantic about the word 'bought' doesn't hold up either, this is an accepted use of the word.
If the PAC is operating under the support or guidance of a foreign entity, it is a foreign lobby. The origin of the dollar is irrelevant.
But, yes. MTG was, is, and probably always will be an anti-semite.
So if a bank have two offices one in the US and one in Israel, and the Israeli government put money in the Israeli branch, and the bank branch in the US decided to donate the same amount to AIPAC, would that still be considered "domestic fundings"
Pretending like there are no way AIPAC is getting money from Israel is a pathetic attempts to ignore the reality they bought two seats with the sole purpose of giving Israel more money.
