Conservatives were doing that long before Trump came along. People literally voted for Bush just because they could imagine themselves having a beer with the guy.

To be fair, Bill Clinton got away with a lot because of his "aw shucks" approach to stuff. But at least he was a half decent leader from what I can remember.

I've considered this theory simply because every story I've read about someone being deported was a trump supporter/married to one. That's probably more my algorithm than facts tho

Most of them are just brown folks trying to survive the cruelties of the global economy.

The ones married to MAGAts, or who get sick or killed are the only ones we have time to write articles about.
