And yet they are the first to use it in open war.
CIWS, Iron Dome, the KARGU from Turkey... Hell you could call mines autonomous if you stretched the definition enough. The cats been out of the bag for years and pretending a smaller nation playing catch-up is a world changing moral issue is just naive.
Yes, I pointed at defensive examples. There's zero reason why similar platforms couldn't be offensively used. The tech is here, it's been here, and just like every other weapon humanity has ever created ignoring it is counterproductive.
Mines are actually a great example, killing indiscriminately long after the war is over. Now we're getting flying mines and we can all regret it when it's too late.
And yet they are the first to use it offensively. It's not my problem you fail to see the escalation that this invites. Good luck when the drones are coming for you.
Brimstone missiles exist; a missile which picks its target itself. Ukraine is not the first country to do this.
Furthermore, if you want the killing to stop, point your finger at the invader, Russia.
Ukraine is literally the first country to use autonomous drones to kill soldiers, full stop. This is an escalation with no ceiling. I invite you to reread this comment in one year. Further, Russia wouldn't have invaded if Ukraine wasn't ethnically cleansing Russian speakers within its borders, and not building an army on its border with Russia. Fuck Russia, but fuck the Nazis in Ukraine even harder.
Ah, now I see what's happening here. Thanks for the discourse, enjoy your rubles. 👍
Of course you wouldn't have a response lol. Enjoy your global economic crash brought upon by America and Israel. I'm sure you'll find a way to blame Russia!
I don't like imperialism, no matter the side. You seem to disagree with my stance.
Not even a little bit.
So you also oppose Russian Imperialism and its current blood soaked war of conquest, like also with other imperialists?
Is Russia trying to extract the resources of Ukraine in order to enrich its elite?
Yes (big agricultural resources, much more moderate climate than most of Russia, Russia wasted no time with taking possession of those resources in occupied regions and selling off the produced and sucking up the revenue) but it is also trying to colonise territory and get more Lebensraum for Russians, including ethnic cleansing of people refusing assimilation, filtration camps etc
Sources please?
Plenty of reports of Russia shipping grain from occupied regions as soon as they got their hands on it. I didn't know that was considered contested information. Nor that Ukraine being prime agricultural land needing evidence either.
I'd love to read one!

Eh pretty weak, plus the source is unable to be unbiased about Russia. I'd wait for a UN report.
I doubt, any source would you convince you of Russia waging an Imperialist war, given your previous posts. Which leads me back to my initial point. I oppose every imperialism and don't play "gimme evidence, no that doesn't count" towards one side.
I mean I watched the BBC lie and obfuscate Israel's actions in Gaza for the past 3 years, I absolutely can't trust them in regards to a foreign country's actions, especially when they have every reason to make Russia look as bad as possible. Knowing bias for your news sources is critical in getting accurate information.
Literally yes, so far the Kremlin has spent 20 times more on the occupied territories of Ukraine building roads, ports and other infrastructure than it spent on its own oblasts. ( Replacing or bypassing Infrastructure that has been destroyed or is still held in Ukrainian hands ) around captured stocks of natural resources . Literal resource extraction from occupied territory.
The content of that picture does not support your claim in any way. Also, it's from a straight up western cyber security and intelligence think tank. This is not a source, it's narrative shaping.
Provide a serious source, this shit ain't it. Right now, as far as I'm concerned, you're spreading desinformation.
That's not quite the same but I can appreciate the sentiment.
