Grouping and berating doesn’t help anyone.

It does when you're aware of a group berating others and call them out for it.

You ain’t gotta “win” every debate

Calling them out is winning. It lets new Lemmy users know what's going on with .ml. Others did it for me when I joined, now I'm doing it for others.

But the groupthink

It's not groupthink. It's a bunch of users calling out a subset of assholes in our midst so their assholery doesn't leak into other parts of Lemmy unchallenged.

They earned their reputation. They're just getting what they earned.
