What a prick. As if he could tell from that picture how attractive she is anyway, she's not dressed in a revealing way, which is a suggestion to not talk about her looks like that.
Hes talking about her glasses but like, on the subject of people actually making comments like you've misunderstood him to be doing, people aren't more deserving of crappy comments on their bodies based on how they dress π
Either give someone a non-dickhead compliment in a context where its appropriate or keep your thoughts to yourself. Learning to understand what kinds of compliments don't carry a feeling of entitlement to their time and reciprocation for the person receiving them is a skill, but its an important one thats worth doing. And It's important to remember that person doesnt owe you any attention or positivity back for the fact you chose to comment on them
(Much of this isnt really purely a reply to you teyrnon, not trying to single you out, just saw the opportunity to address the way we comment on people and expand on the idea that the way people dress doesnt mean folks are entitled to interacting with them in a way that sucks for the person being commented on)
Okay, so he's an ophthalmologist, and he's talking about what her potential prescription for her glasses might be.
It is easily misread as a misogynist measurement of her beauty, and he recognizes that and acknowledges it. It wasn't what he meant. Hence, the meme.
