Yes I get that but ICE is entirely formed, from idea to execution, by Americans
Perhaps if you guys had done some instrospection about racism being engrained in America, instead of pretending it was all a lie, you could have started turning the ship around

Not even a week ago almost everyone on this site was licking the boot of a nazi-tattooed former blackwater merc and abu ghraib guard who did worse shit than ICE except that it was to brown people so the yanks didn't care...
Victim blaming would apply to the people abducted or killed by ICE. Last time I checked the US was still a democracy, with a very low level of participation.
So yeah. There might not be a single cause to the rise of fascism in the US, but apathy and ignorance of the general population definitely has something to do with it.
