I’m fine with Christianity. Christian Nationalism is not Christianity.
Ah, no true Scotsman.
Having grown up with religion and also having studied history, I am decidedly not fine with most major religions. They're a tool for control, regardless of what little hope it might give some people who should probably go to therapy instead of church.
They need to update the name to "no true Christian," since it is much more relevant these days
Christian nationalism has been the history of Christianity since the Roman Empire.
Out of the 5 largest world religions, Christianity and Islam are by far the most imperialist (though Judaism is making quite the run now). Christianity has arguably had the largest negative impact via colonialism and the Atlantic slave trade.
There are multiple passages within the religious texts of Abrahamic faiths that endorse slavery.
I'm pissed if I'm being ordered to respect it. I hsvd the requirement to be allowed to be mad at the religion that keeps its boot on my back.
