Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

I think "can a woman win" with be a popular attack by centrists in the primary. Same thing they did with Warren when she was briefly leading. They'll yas queen the shittiest empty pantsuits and cheer minority voices right up until the woman or minority is progressive, then they'll JAQ off incessantly about whether they can win the vote of their MAGA uncle who was never going to vote Democrat in the first place. And if they don't have a MAGA uncle they'll imagine one to wring their hands over.
AOC can win, but the centrists are going to do a lot of "I'm not sexist, but" the whole primary and try to get a bunch of normies to become political pundits and vote for someone who says nothing "because it's electable".
I don’t think centrist attacks of “can a woman win” in the 2028 primary will even work consider AOC and Kamala are 2 of the front runners in polling/enthusiasm. The only male up there with them is Newsom. There is no Biden-like candidate with the Obama rub to skirt by.
AOC is in prime position in 2028 as long as there’s no other DSA-like candidate splitting their vote.
Honestly her biggest challenge in 2028, is gonna be the progressive biggest challenge in 2016 and 2024 that they keep ignoring. THE BLACK VOTERS! Bernie refused to target that demo, despite them making up a huge portion of the democratic electorate, and right now Kamala is polling around 35%-45% of the black vote. If she walks into South Carolina/Super Tuesday with those numbers, she gonna be the nominee easily.
Fortunately for AOC, she more motion with black voters than Bernie and has actually been reaching out to them this year on her media events.
I don't really think this delusion that Harris is a viable candidate will last until 2028, and if she's gone every single name being trial-ballooned is a white man.
On Black voters, AOC is from the Bronx. She doesn't have the same blinders as Bernie. The real problem isn't the black voters in general, it's that the DNC chose older and more conservative South Carolina to represent them and loaded it right up front to set an expectation. Maryland and Georgia both have a greater proportion of black voters and they have a different political lean.
I think a woman and PoC absolutely can win the DNC primary.
But let's be real here. The #1 disqualifying trait of HRC and Harris was their obvious lack of external genetalia.
It had nothing to do with the sham of a primary. It had nothing to do with Israel.
The fact is after all the bullshit that happened 2020-2024, 2 million more people still found Donald ~~mother~~child-fucking Trump more appetizing than Harris.
And I don't think all of those people chose Trump on policy or track record. They were all at least 12 during Trump's first term, they have no excuse.
Lol. No.
Convenient excuse if you want to pin the failures of bland centrist campaigns run by revolving door consultants on women though.
