but someone working 60 hours a week often just wants to do something easy and learning new skills takes effort.

It takes almost no effort to use a crock pot, and it's really hard to fuck up if you follow directions. When I was working 2 jobs, I'd regularly throw something in the crockpot in the morning, and come home to an amazing smelling home and a meal that was basically done.

People who say they can't cook aren't trying, there are so many easy ways to make cooking so simple that even my sister in law can do it unattended.
