Me with star trek. Not only is it a perfect show for me, there's a whole franchise behind it!

It's amazing how strong the fandom for it still is. I realized that if I make it to 2066, I'll have a favorite show that is 100 years old.

Didn't know you were a Trekkie /s

Me, trying not to talk about star trek in every unrelated thread:

old trek is the best, nutrek is kinda sloppy, the animated series however were decent enough.

I'm honestly so grateful for Star Trek. And there are enough episodes between TOS, TNG, VOY, DS9, and Lower Decks that I can pretty much infinitely rewatch them in an endless loop. Especially if you also throw in The Orville, The Expanse, any of the Stargates, or Battlestar Galactica into that watch loop.

LD and prodigy, why continued with the live action ones, if they have been doing so bad anyways.

Toss in Babylon 5 for the Trek/Sgate/Bstar/Expanse and all spin offs rotation. That's a ton of great shows that could keep you busy for years with little overlap and breaks between franchises.

So say we all!

I would also recommend Babylon 5 if you haven't tried it yet.

Babylon 5 remains one of the greatest tv shows ever made, on par with Stargate.

I went looking for the B5 recommendation, glad someone mentioned it.

I grew up with Voyager and at some point, I systematically rewatches TNG, DS9 and VOY (and TOS, this was before DIS). I watched the episodes in order of release which adds to the experience because there are reoccuring characters and narratives showing up in different shows. The shows are very episodic (except for parts of DS9) so you can watch them in any order, but if you watch them all anyways, be aware of the overlap both in release date and in the story

STD, picard was pretty bad.

Also is there a source for upscaled Star Trek? I'll rewatch them all if there is one?
