Oh season 2 is hard but it's such a painful season and so good at making you feel. And 6 even more so. 6 isn't my favorite season because 3 and 5 exist, but it's probably 3rd. Definitely has some questionable decisions, but the making the big bad be life, the incel villains, and the raw struggles of the characters were so good. Also the musical episode was peak.
Tap for spoiler
Tara deserved better though. And everything surrounding the rape was quite rough.Season 4 is my least favorite because it just failed to hit very hard, and being sandwiched between 3 with Cordelia's face turn and Faith, Wesley, and the Mayor and 5 with Glory and just everything great about it, it's flatness was far more noticeable
I get that. 6 was almost really great at being what it really was, a long, depressing slog. Which it should have been. But that makes the clunky episodes just heavy and bad. Plus the transition from network to network... Ugh.
Musical was absolutely peak.
