Exactly. The gaping hole in the judicial system exposed by both Trump and Musk is that it takes forever for any consequences to arise, and you can just delay and appeal and delay until you get a buyable judge.
Musk is winding up to meddle in another election. Like oh no, oh golly gosh, he did something naughty last time. What the fuck are you going to do to stop him doing that again? Fuck all.
I feel like it's been that way for as long as the US has been a country. Maybe longer. There's almost always different rules for rich people. People pay lip service to ideals like freedom and fairness, but then there's the reality.
Hell in a call? Asking for an undertaker.

Once the current felon is discharged, I assure you, a felony conviction will lead to all kinds of real world pains in the assholes, even if not direct incarceration.
I heard that too many times to actually believe it.
You say that like you think Trump won't issue blanket pardons for anyone even peripherally connected to him on his way out.
Genuinely we should invalidate everything this admin has done and set the clock back to.. what year is it these days..? feels so long ago? To 2024.
All the pardons he sold? Unpardoned. All the eos he proclaimed? Invalidated. Every law he signed or vetod? Reversed, or at least undone to be voted on again.
Its just wild that we don't have any real mechanism to undo this kind of damage. I know they thought it wouldn't happen, but fuck me, they didn't even “what if..?”
