They do this so often it's amazing. They like villains but forget that villains most often lose
It's just that American Christian Republicans only know their bible 6th hand thru memes. Like this dumbass who is talking to who he thinks are people that know it 12th hand because his ego is over-inflatedx
The villains lose because history is written by victors. Pretty sure Amalek would describe their genocide different from the biblical version
Weren't they the ones who have their babies dashed against the rocks? The Bible is fucked up.
I think that was a revenge fantasy for Babylonians. So it didn't happen, not even according to the biblical narrative, which doesn't really make it better.
About Amalek, the Bible says among other things: "You shall blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!"
Adding to the obvious irony, there is no mention of them outside the Bible. So assuming they were a historical people, the only book that preserve their name is the one that tells us to wipe it from memory.
