Probation is distinct from parole in the US legal system. Shall I provide you with a source to clarify the difference?

typo on my part, the point is the same. both are still parts of the carceral state.

that the US has got better at managing more people through its carceral system with less visible imprisonment is not the flex that you think it is

Criticism of the US prison system is warranted but we must ensure that it is accurate, no?

It's strange to me that you think I'm flexing. Aren't we essentially arguing the same thing: that all humans have the right to live in decency?
