Tripling down isn’t going to help you.

I haven’t made any assumptions. All you’ve done is make assumptions that I’ve been making assumptions.

I get that you’ve met a bunch of health care C-suite. It’s just not that impressive. Your reiterated statement doesn’t tell us anything but the fact that you don’t understand what the basics of the levels of evidence that we use in medicine are. Nor what biases are, like your own confirmation bias.

If you're going to reiterate the same bullshit that has nothing to do with evidence based practice. I'll just reiterate my correct statement:

Bottom line when it comes to health care the vast majority in leadership and c-suite positions have mainly science degrees (MD, PH.D, DPN, MRN, APRN, MRN) with most, but not all, having a business degree as well.

FYI, if you look up any health organization, you'll see how many people have medical degrees. You clearly don't work in healthcare and clearly haven't communicated with anyone that does.

Honestly surprised I'm even carrying on this conversation with an obvious retard.

the same bullshit that has nothing to do with evidence based practice

Your claim has nothing to do with evidence based practice. I never said it did. However the concept applies to a broader range than just clinical research or EBM. And if you claim to work in health care you should know something about it when working in health care and you should refrain from statements that go against this concept.

Bottom line…

Bottom line is you haven’t provided any evidence for your claim. All you’ve done it restate a well-known logical fallacy like a broken record and pout when someone doesn’t immediately fall for it. I think:

Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results

…applies here.

You clearly don't work in healthcare and clearly haven't communicated with anyone that does.

I’m an MD, PhD, so actually yes, I do. You on the other hand, work for a software company that happens to provide software for health care facilities. So in fact, you do not. But all of that is irrelevant, since I don’t believe that either of us can tell this from our respective personal encounters with the C-suite.

If someone doesn’t believe your claim, you look for evidence backing that up. You don’t go telling someone they’re an idiot for not believing you. To show you how that may look, I will start:

While a majority of hospital executive officers are non-physician leaders, more and more health care organizations are recognizing the value of having physicians in the C-suite

So, now we have found an apparent expert – since neither of us are – it seems the cards are shuffling differently. He doesn’t provide any evidence either, so this brings us up to level C. If you have something better I wil gladly take a look.

And to humor you – because again, one health facility doesn’t say anything about the other thousands – I’ve looked up the executive team of the TMC and found one MD, one PhD and one MPH among a whole assortment of business majors, management and legal studies.

Maybe it’s time to drop your arrogance a bit. The fact that you can’t tell a doc from an obvious retard who obviously doesn’t work in health care isn’t doing you any favors.

You looked up TMC, which I now assume you work for. Don't believe your an MD, however. Well, here some more examples:

This is a small sample of some of the largest health organizations in the US. This also doesn't count the thousands of directors and department managers within those hospitals. All of which are going to have some science degree with the exception of legal, IT, EVS, Transport, and other non clinical positions.

This also doesn't count the thousands and thousands private practices and surgical clinics opened by a licensed practicing MD.

I didn't provide proof, because it's common knowledge. Something an MD, as you claim to be, should know just from experience. Unless of course you are either 1) lying, or 2) so limited in your own experience that you are projecting your own limited bias towards.

FYI, yes I work for a health software company, however that doesn't mean I don't also have a science backed degree because working direct for a hospital sucks and patient care sucks even more. It's called I got out and can get paid more for less work. So my clinical and operational knowledge is then shared with other hospitals for 7 digit dollar contracts. Something you are limited in.

TMC, which I now assume you work for

I do not. It’s really quite baffling how every single assumption you’ve made about me is false. If you flipped and landed a coin this many times people wouldn’t believe the odds. TMC was simply the first that came to mind as the largest in the US.

Don't believe your an MD

Another false assumption. I’ve not questioned your credentials, so let’s not start calling each other a liar because that inconveniences your credibility.

I’m not clicking on your examples, since they are meaningless and would be a waste of my time, like I’ve already said. I feel sorry for you wasting your time trying to find them. You asked me to look up any one. I did, like I said to humor you, not because I thought it meant anything.

because it's common knowledge.

Really? Maybe you can tell this guy who wrote

a majority of hospital executive officers are non-physician leaders

In a magazine called “Managed Healthcare”.

  1. lying,

Oh, literally calling me a liar now. Nice. First “retard”, now liar. Calling me names and a liar is meaningless to me. I don’t know what corner of your dark triad I’ve tapped into to see you act like this, but it’s not a good look.

2) so limited in your own experience

Didn’t I already tell you that both of our own experiences were irrelevant? I distinctly remember I did… but thanks for agreeing for a change.

own limited bias towards

So you do know what bias is. Now try to apply that elsewhere.

This was one of the most pompous and arrogant sections I’ve read in a long time. You’ve gone from helping people in need to preying on them, and apparently very proud of that. Maybe you and your hypercapitalism can find a place on Truth Social…

I never asked about your degree, nor am I interested. You said you work in health care, which – since I guess we’re down that road already I’ll say – was simply a lie. It doesn’t make you an expert and unless you can show me some data isn’t going to do anything. You can try and see if the Nth time around will suddenly change everything, the chance is never zero. But if you’re really looking to make an argument stick with me you’re going to have to do a little better than repeating the same thing over and over. Maybe you could apply that “science backed degree” a bit.
