It's so sad and depressing that the only thing that moves the needle and makes the average Unitedstater react is the price of gas.
Obviously they're not invading other countries and killing innocent people for nothing. Who cares about other people, kidnappings in the streets, turning against your allies, as long as they can get cheap gas, there's no problem.
Maybe the US is due to invade another country with oil, to keep its population happy.
Rule of thumb: economic issues beat social issues almost 100% of the time with US voters
Eh, it's not something unique to the US. People will always prioritize economic issues over social ones no matter where they are. Pretty hard to care about other people when you're struggling to survive yourself. It's just human nature.
Most Americans are really not struggling to survive though. Or at least they shouldn't be given their income.
Let's throw em a curveball with a politician who promises free gas and free abortions 🫢
