They say this with a straight face. You just need to ask who was in charge when roe v wade was overturned and what was the response to try to save important hard fought rights.
But no, it's the people trying to hold power accountable that is the problem.
Come on that's not even a hard one. Congress was split, not enough votes to break fillabuster, meaning Dems didn't have enough votes to codify Roe after the conservative Supreme Court, thanks to Trump 1, repealed it.
To fix the Supreme Court would take a supermajority which is unlikely. Codifying Roe will take much less. They should have done it during the Obama years when they held a fillabuster proof majority.
If you want to undo the system you should at least have a basic understanding of how it works
Dems had a supermajority in 2021 as well.
The biggest thing the Dems did during the Obama years was pass the "heritage foundation healthcare plan".
If you want to defend a system you should at least have a basic understanding of what it does.
Objectively false lmao, now we're just lying?

They couldn't even break fillabuster let alone a supermajority. I'll give the benefit of the doubt in case you're unaware, but a supermajority does not mean holding just a majority. It is holding 2/3rds of the seats. Allowing for amendments to the constitution to be passed or to override a presidential veto.
A fillabuster proof majority is holding 60 senate seats.
A simple majority is not enough to even call a vote if the other side blocks
Please at least Google before confidently trying to call others ignorant
