jfc…. I cannot believe how eager you all are to repeat the mistakes that got us here. Please. You stay home and don’t vote in the midterms. Express that entitlement MIGHTLY! Come here and proudly proclaim your inability to do the bare minimum to stop fascism. Besides, I honestly don’t think you have the intelligence to know how to do it to begin with, so save the poor volunteers the hassle of having to explain it to you.
And no, I’m not at all worried about telling you not to vote as I know you weren’t going to anyway. Stay home and be as ignorant as you’d like. Just don’t complain when things get SO much worse.
You have prominent democratic consultants like James Carville saying he would rather we loose the house to fascists than negotiate with the DSA. When voters hear that they stop believing it is a dire situation. If the candidates themselves believed the election was existential they would stop doing unpopular things. The call is coming from inside. Framing popularity as a purity test is simply wishing elections behaved differently.
I don’t really care… Vote anyway.

If they were honest with themselves they would admit they don't even believe in democracy. It's impossible to hold such cynicism towards your neighbors whilst also thinking their opinions matter.
What entitles you to not care? I already voted but I am not under the illusion that the leadership that sleeped walked us into this mess will do anything but buy us more time to organize.

People are dying because of this shit. We don’t have time to coddle the entitled. If you don’t like it- feel free to block me, because you’ll definilty be seeing more of this whenever I can make it known.
And I'll be there to call out how you are attacking the people you claim to care about, not to change their mind, but because you are scared. The latter is valid, but the former is counterproductive.
I never claimed to care about people they seem to not care that they helped trump to victory. And let’s not pretend to be a victim here.

And I do care very much about them. However, there’s fucking dumbasses in every group, the LGBTQ is not impervious to this. And if there are members that aren’t voting to stop the fascist from a total takeover of the country, they need to have their ignorance shouted at them at ear-bleeding volume.
