It is funny to me, but I guess it makes sense. Conservative "beauty" is some standard look because they value conformity.

Which is weird because blonde hair often turns darker after childhood unless someone is always under sunlight and even then there's no garuntee. Hell I was born blonde and my hair turned rust red with age, the parts that have bleached from sunlight are just an even more rusty red. So it always looks artificial unless someone has had some very specific luck.

That's why I referred it looking shit and artificial in reference to bleaching and dyeing. I've a bad case of swimmers ear so thinking hard.
