The Union's Socialist-Liberal Popular Front against slavery should be an inspiration for all of us to set aside broader questions of social structure to stop horrific atrocity-regimes from coming to fruition
Likewise, the failure of the Revolutions of '48 due to liberal-socialist infighting should be a warning to all of us what exactly can happen if we focus too much on circular firing squads instead of crushing the most entrenched and reactionary powers currently around.
That being said, I do want to clarify that the reverse is not necessarily the answer - "ignore your allies' flaws and trust them unconditionally" is a great way to get backstabbed. But there is room for united action against worse enemies, and it's largely necessary to accept some amount of unity with people whom one... strongly disagrees with... to dislodge entrenched powers.
