Example:

- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. - Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

This is pretty much what I expected from this scum administration.
The real depressing news is in the linked article, where a survey showed only 53% of respondents thought the shooting was unjustified (35% thought it was justified, rest gave no opinion). I don't understand how you see that video and come away with any other conclusion unless you're just being actively partisan.
Key here is respondents, I never respond, I don't know anyone who takes these surveys, the only people who pick up and agree to surveys are on landlines and usually old, hardly a real representation of the feeling of the majority
Same, I get tons and tons of survey request texts for some reason. I report them as spam, block, and move on. Too big a risk that it’s a data harvesting front looking for targets or something, since the uptick in number of texts and groups sending them in the last two-ish years has been massive..
I always get frustrated and roll my eyes when a article says after we did a massive survey 80 percent think the sky red in America! And they don't tell you what that survey is or the questions are or the sample size, usually when they do you find out the questions are misleading to get the numbers whoever is doing it wants, like fox News surveys poll certain states and the questions will be stuff like "if a ice agent is getting run over by a car is it justified for them to shoot" and a more left leaning poll would be " can ice agents kill anyone that is running away from them no questions asked". Obviously these aren't best examples but I'm sure the point is clear that survey says is bullshit, it's like the IASIP episode of family feed, surveys mean nothing
You understand completely, most of those folks didn't watch the video(s) and if they've seen any footage of the incident it's shortened clips that are edited to be disingenuous at best and downright lies at worst.
I don't know what it is about people that make them think any law enforcement officer, ever, should be putting themselves in front of a vehicle when there is no danger to the community or bystanders if the person just left. It 100% is on that officer, that man should be locked up in prison.
It's despicable, disgusting, and frankly un-American what is going on and sadly it's going to keep going on until more blood is spilled.
There are many people who don't care about anything, until calamity is on their doorstep.
Actively propagandised.
35% of the country are child rapist supporting cult followers that is basically the baseline, so it being 35% shows the overwhelming majority is against this
Unfortunately, the people that voted for Trump either can't admit that their vote is responsible for death and destruction or they simply don't even care.
As for the former, they would let the world burn and their children die before they admit they were wrong. It's that bone headed demographic that we're talking about.
So the stats (public opinion) won't budge much further beyond what we see now.
