They have never been Pro Peace, they only ever said that when the orange dipshit started his weird lies about being a President of peace. Their anti-government stance was just another expression of their "Don't tread on me" position. Emphases on the "Me" part. They don't want the government to interfere with THEM, everyone else can get fucked. Overtly fascist authoritarian government? Totally fine as long as it hurts the "right" people. Government forces their kid's school to admit gay people exist? They will RIOT. Same as their bullshit about the second amendment being necessary to protect against the government, right now we're seeing the kind of shit they supposedly meant but since it's mostly going after brown people, that's just fine and dandy with those right wing knuckledraggers.
Also the right has not cared about hypocrisy in a long time. Their voters don't care and thus neither do their elected representatives.
The 'gotcha' memes are only ever preaching to the choir. No one represented in this meme will see it and those who might actually stumble upon it will just fall back to their podcast bro Fox News talking points.
