Apparently lying means you get away with whatever you have done before they figured out you were lying, but you just have to not lie in the future.
Just kidding, you can keep lying in the future as long as you are one of the fascists.
As an attorney, my recollection is that lying under oath is perjury, but what do I know?
I'm not an attorney but that was also my naive understanding based on a life of intermittent consumption of law-themed fiction
I think Trump's lawyers are all graduates from the Von Karma's School of Law.

...That's perjury on top of acting in contempt of court. Is there some reason why he hasn't already been put in shackles for that?
On a separate note, Bovino is so stupid. He has no clue that he's being set up to be the fall guy. He's racking up all the points to get all of the excesses of this evil operation in Chicago pinned squarely on him. He's giving the ghouls at the top plausible deniability should accountability ever come.
They certainly wouldn't put smart or valuable people in charge. Then they'd never get their desires carried out.
Someone needs to be willing to prosecute it. And since it is a federal court I believe it would need to be a federal prosecutor. That should answer your question.
Gee, what is it called again when you get caught lying to a judge? Probably not something where we have a special name and crime just for that...
No talk. Action need!
Hearing this weasley short end of the stick motherfucker cry out in his nasally and whiny voice, "This is our fucking city" has to be peak Maga.
He goes on fox news and says he didn't lie and that the judge lied about his admission. Crazy.
